The German vehicle regulator, the KBA, has found that hundreds of thousands of Mercedes Vehicles (including the popular Euro 6 Vito) contain illegal ‘defeat devices’, which allow cars, vans and taxis to appear to pass emissions tests, but in the real world to emit many times the legal limits of NOx. Mercedes has recalled thousands of vehicles as a result.
Many of these vehicles are used as taxi, private-hire, or company vehicles.
If your fleet includes Mercedes vehicles, manufactured between 2009 and 2019, you could be entitled to between £5,000 – £10,000 per affected vehicle. Register your interest in joining the claim now, and someone will be in touch.
We understand that vehicle recalls cause disruption to businesses operating vehicle fleets. Compliance with such manufacturer recalls can result in real costs to your business and limit fleet utilisation, impacting revenues. These problems are true for fleets of all sizes.
We also understand that being associated with a ‘dirty’ vehicle fleet is damaging to a businesses reputation in a world where environmental factors are increasingly at the centre of business decisions.
